RCMP Museum ~ Musée de la GRC

Why does the Museum exist?

The RCMP Centennial Museum is an unique museum dedicated to one of the greatest and best-known police forces in the world, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The Force has a long and colourful history and the museum brings that history to life for visitors both young and old.

The Museum serves to document the past and present achievements of the RCMP and also supports a wide variety of educational activities encouraging and supporting formal research into the study of the History of the RCMP.

Why does the Museum need support?

While the Museum is the regimental museum for the RCMP, most of it's funding and support comes from past members, volunteers, businesses and others who want to see the Museum continue to be one of the premiere museums in Canada. There are regular staff employed by the Museum but much of the work in support of the museum comes from volunteers.

How can I help support the Museum?

Donations of time or money are always welcome but one of the best and easiest way to support the Museum is simply to join the Friends!! The Friends of the Mounted Police Museum group is a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Museum.
