I am the grandson of the late inspector R.C Bowen who joined
the force Mar 1909 and patrolled with a pack train from
fort Saskatchewan to Whitehorse and spent 5 years .

Was very suprised to see my great grandfathers name listed in the WW1 memorial in the museum His name was ASHE Sandes he served for 11 years with the NWMP before joining up to fight. Is there any way I can find any more info about him. He served in "K" Division as corporal,Sergeant,Staff Sergeant and Detective Sergeant. I would appreciate any help.
