We visited the Miramichi area recently> Several RCMP officers were staying at our hotel. Inspite of the problems they were having with the natives in Miramichi Bay they still had time to give us a lot of help. Also, this is a great web site. ..

This a fabulous website. I can hardly wait to see the museum for real. The Mountie teddy bear is definitely on my wish list for Christmas this year. Could anyone there tell me if there are any plans to bring the musical ride to the Pacific Northwest region of the US esp Oregon, and if not, how would one go about getting them here? I'm sure a lot of folks here in southern Oregon would welcome to opportunity to see this. please e-mail me on this possibility. thank you.

Saw the museum on my holidays. Was very suprised to see my great grandfathers name listed in the WW1 memorial in the museum His name was ASHE Sandes he served for 11 years with the NWMP before joining up to fight. Is there any way I can find any more info about him. He served in "K" Division as corporal,Sergeant,Staff Sergeant and Detective Sergeant. I would appreciate any help. Thanks
