I have found your site extremely interesting and will inform others to check out your site. I am also an avid collector of police paraphernalia and would like to know approx how much it would cost in postage to send the set of 2 cherrished teddies - Inspector Yukon & Constable Mackenzie to me in Australia. If you are able to let me know so I know an approx. of the total order it would be much appreciated. Can you fill me in on this, if it is true, thank you, H. How can I find out if this is the case? The family member was a 'LEWIS'. That's all I know! A positive response to assist me with my research would be very much appreciated. I haven"t had any time since reading the article to do any research, but my grandfather"s name was Johnson and died about the same time as the Mad Trapper under misterious circumstances of which I never found out as a child. He was alleged to have been a trapper-smuggler and was on the run from the RCMP about that time in southern Saskatchewan from the Shaunavon, Eastend area. I was told as a child he eluded the RCMP and died later in a mental institution in Montana or Wyoming. If this bit of information interests your organization please fell free to follow it up by contacting me. I will be as helpful as I can. Dear Bill (Mackay), just to say how much I have enjoyed viewing your site. One typo that jumps out at you is when you enter the museum and it prompts you to English - Please select or French - Choissez SVP - Choissez is not a word!! perhaps - (Choisir s'il vous plaît) might be more appropriate.
